The present disclosure relates to methods and products for preventing and/or treating a stress- induced cardiomyopathy. Certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of preventing and/or treating a stress-induced cardiomyopathy in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of one or more of the following agents: a peroxynitrite inhibitor an inhibitor of peroxynitrite synthesis an inhibitor of peroxynitrite associated signalling an inhibitor of peroxynitrite-induced DNA damage a Tx NIP inhibitor a beta 2 adrenoceptor antagonist and a beta 3 adrenoceptor antagonist thereby preventing and/or treating the stress-induced cardiomyopathy in the subject.La présente invention concerne des méthodes et des produits de prévention et/ou de traitement dune cardiomyopathie induite par le stress.
