A surgical apparatus (100) includes a housing member (102) having leading and trailing ends that define a longitudinal axis. One or more ports (106a-c) longitudinally extend between the leading and trailing ends, and are configured and adapted to receive a surgical instrument therein in a substantially sealed relation. At least one cleaning port (130) longitudinally extends between the leading and trailing ends, and is configured and adapted to receive a cleaning device (135) therein. The cleaning device is configured and adapted to clean surgical instruments positioned within the one or more ports without necessitating removal of the surgical instruments from the one or more ports.
