Disclosed herein is a foam composition for sterilization comprising povidone-iodine, an organosulfate type surfactant and a non-ionic surfactant, wherein the blending amount of the organosulfate type surfactant is 0.4 to 10 (W/V)%, and the blending amount of the non-ionic surfactant is 0.02 to 1 (W/V)%, and wherein the blending ratio between the organosulfate type surfactant and the non-ionic surfactant is from 50:1 to 2:1.
