The present invention relates to a child resistant and senior friendly blister package for unit dose products, composed of a blister forming foil (21) and blister lidding foil (22). The blister forming foil (21) and the blister lidding foil (22) have plural intersecting perforating lines (23) to form plural cells (24) contiguous with the perforated lines (23) . Each cell (24) of the blister lidding foil (22) is the same shape and size as the corresponding cell (24) of the blister forming foil (21).
