A composition for oral care, comprising: a. adhesive, and b. silica particles, wherein the composition for an oral care implement provides fluid flow rate not greater than about 45% of the liquid flow rate in the exposed dentin, and wherein the silica particles have a particle size distribution (PSD) from 2 microns to 5 microns, or mean particle size from 2 microns to 5 microns, the composition for an oral care implement further comprises a desensitizing agent selected from potassium nitrate, potassium chloride, potassium citrate, wherein the silica particles are present in an amount of from 5% to 9% by weight and wherein the adhesive is selected from polymers polivinilfosfonovoy acid, poly (1-phosphonopropyl) sulfonic acid, poly (beta stirenfosfonovoy acid), alpha stirenfosfonovoy acid, a synthetic anionic polymeric polycarboxylate, maleic anhydride, maleic acid and methyl vinyl efira.2. Composition according to Claim. 1, wherein the silica particles have an average particle size of from 2.7 microns to 4.0 mkm.3. Composition according to Claim. 1 wherein the particles comprise silica aggregate having a particle size selected from the group consisting of 2 microns, 2.5 microns, 3 microns, 3.5 microns and 4 microns, 4.5 microns and 5 microns, wherein said aggregate silica particles is at least 20% of the total silicon in chastitsdioksida said composition for oral care rta.4.
