A reduced pressure line for treating a tissue site, comprising:! a barrier element made of a first material having a first surface and a second surface facing the fabric and made with a first plurality of holes, the first material having a first bioabsorption period (BA1),! the second material located inside the specified set of holes and configured to form a temporary seal, while the second material has a second bioabsorption period (BA2), the first bioabsorption period being different from the second bioabsorption period (BA1 ≠ BA2), and! a reduced pressure delivery element connected to the barrier element for delivering reduced pressure during therapy to the second surface of the barrier element. ! 2.
