Derivatives of verbascoside and the pharmaceutical compositions containing them are the subject matter of the present invention. In particular, the present invention relates to compounds of Formula (I), wherein R, R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different and are independently selected from hydrogen and a residue of a carboxylic acid, wherein the ester groups R-O-, R1-O, R2-O- and R3-O-, respectively, are hydrolysable to a pH ranging between 4.5 and 7, provided that R, R1, R2 and R3 are not simultaneously hydrogen.L'invention concerne des dérivés de verbascoside et les compositions pharmaceutiques les contenant.
