A sanitary pad comprises an absorbing layer and a flow guide layer made of a soft and absorbent material and positioned on the absorbing layer. The flow guide layer includes two side walls separately disposed and extended in a longitudinal direction, a central part connected the two side walls and vertically spaced from the absorbing layer, and a back stretching part extending backward from the central part and vertically spaced from the absorbing layer to partially project backward beyond the absorbing layer. Each of the side walls of the flow guide layer is gradually increased in height so as to have the central part and the back stretching part also gradually extend upwardly and backward, thereby enhancing the compliance with the pudendum of a user. In addition, the back stretching part partially extends beyond the absorbing layer and can be pinched between the absorbing layer and the users body to help positioning and prevent displacement of the flow guide layer.
