PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus in a dental oral cavity, the apparatus that is hard to make pain felt even if touching a palate or a mouth floor.SOLUTION: An imaging unit 10 of an X-ray imaging apparatus in a dental oral cavity includes an X-ray receiving unit having an X-ray imaging element and a case 10a for covering the X-ray receiving unit. The contour of the imaging unit 10 is configured such that the upper part showing the side being near to the palate is thinner than the lower part in imaging of the upper teeth and the top half including at least the upper part of the front showing the side with the light receiving surface of the X-ray imaging element has an arc when viewed from a side, and the central part is thicker than the side and at least the upper part of the front has the arc when viewed from the upper part.
