A workstation, a medical imaging apparatus and a control method thereof are disclosed. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, the workstation includes a display apparatus and a controller configured to receive respiration information of an object, determine an acquisition section of magnetic resonance (MR) data related to the object based on the respiration information. The controller is also configured to control the display apparatus to display the respiration information of the object and the acquisition section, and display a user interface configured to change the displayed acquisition section according to a users operation command.
