PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating device which can simplify a structure for cleaning an ion generating electrode, and which can also reduce the size easily.SOLUTION: A cleaning part 14a is arranged in a position spaced at a predetermined distance from an ion generating electrode 12a. A moving part 15a moves the cleaning part 14a so that the cleaning part 14a can be brought into direct contact with a tip of the ion generating electrode 12a. A cleaning part 14b is arranged in a position which is different from that of the cleaning part 14a and is spaced at a predetermined distance from the ion generating electrode 12a. A moving part 15b moves the cleaning part 14b so that the cleaning part 14b can be brought into direct contact with the tip of the ion generating electrode 12a.
