The present invention provides a microneedle material that can be quickly absorbed by dissolving in a short time, thereby shortening the microneedle application time. As a microneedle material, a mixture of a water-soluble polymer and one or more types of saccharides selected from monosaccharides and disaccharides is used. As the water-soluble polymer, synthetic polymers, proteins, polysaccharides, or mixtures thereof can be preferably used.
