Present invention is related to an actuating device for surgical clip having an actuating device body. A fixture head is moveably mounted on a front end of the actuating device body. An opening is deposited around the actuating device body. The fixture head has a lid to cover the opening. Two blocks are respectively mounted on the front end and a rear end of the actuating device body. A trigger is configured to the actuating device body where a connecting rod is deposited between the trigger and the blocks. The present invention is operated by inserting a clip unit into the fixture head securely. A rear end of the clip unit is fixed with the blocks. The present invention is able to be actuated by users triggering the trigger on the actuating device body.
