PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin detergent composition which has high sterilizing properties even if using a low-concentration fatty acid salt, which is excellent in foaming performance, such as elasticity of foam, foamability and fineness of foam, which has no slimy feeling when rinsing, and which is mild to the skin.SOLUTION: A skin detergent composition contains: 0.4-10 mass% of a fatty acid salt represented by (A) R1COOM (where, R1 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group of carbon numbers 5-21, and M represents any of alkali metal, alkanolamine and a basic amino acid) (B) at least one kind selected from a fatty acid ester having 2-ethylhexyl glyceryl ether and a fatty acid residue of carbon numbers 4-10 as well as (C) an N-acylamino acid surfactant.
