PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a user could be adversely affected if inhaling air with a low oxygen concentration when the container is open, since oxygen in the container decreases in a conventional CA storage method that uses a refrigerator container.SOLUTION: When a user draws out of a vegetable compartment 16 a container consisting of a lower container 48 and an upper container 50 from which oxygen has been reduced, a lid 52 of the upper container 50 is opened prior to exposure of the upper container 50 from the vegetable compartment 16 in order to increase the oxygen concentration within the upper container 50.
