PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method for an acceleration sensor capable of obtaining a one-dimensional acceleration data reflected precisely with fluctuation of an acceleration, based on a multidimensional acceleration data, a respiratory movement detecting method using the data processing method for the acceleration sensor, and a respiratory movement detector using the respiratory movement detecting method.
SOLUTION: The respiratory movement detector 1 includes the three-dimensional acceleration sensors 2a, 2b mounted on a body of a subject, and a respiratory movement detecting part 4 for detecting a respiratory movement of the subject, based on the three-dimensional acceleration data obtained by the acceleration sensors 2a, 2b, and the respiratory movement detecting part 4 has a one-dimensionalizing means 4a for calculating a principal axis of the fluctuation of the acceleration, based on the three-dimensional acceleration data, and for generating the one-dimensional acceleration data by projecting the three-dimensional acceleration data on the principal axis, and a respiration motion detecting means 4c for detecting the respiration motion, based on the one-dimensional acceleration data obtained by the one-dimensionalizing means 4a.
