PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electrostatic atomizing device possible to be one also provided with minus ion generating function by using a small number of parts, possible to commonly use a high-voltage generating circuit together with a device for the minus ion generating function, also possible to eliminate a fear of generating ozone.
SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizing device is provided with: water sucking bodies 4 for sucking water from a water holding part 6 an ionization needle 5 for generating minus ions an impression electrode 2 for electrostatically atomizing water at the water sucking bodies by impressing minus voltage to water of the water holding part and to the ionization needle simultaneously, and for making the ionization needle generate corona discharge and a high voltage generating source for impressing minus voltage to the impression electrode.
