The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vascular viscoelasticity determination device having high reliability of evaluation of vascular viscoelasticity when a pulse wave is measured using one cuff, and on the basis of the measured pulse wave, a determination index of vascular viscoelasticity is calculated and when the determination index of vascular viscoelasticity is calculated with a comparatively young person as a person to be measured. A vascular viscoelasticity evaluation device primarily differentiates a pulse wave obtained using a cuff, detects a positive first generated amplitude peak value (Vf1), and a second generated peak (Vr2) among a plurality of generated negative amplitude peak values in a single pulse wave of the differentiated waveform in a state where external force approximately higher than or equal to maximum blood pressure is applied to a blood vessel, calculates the ratio between the detected positive first generated amplitude peak value (Vf1) and negative second generated amplitude peak value (Vr2), and on the basis of the calculated ratio, evaluates vascular viscoelasticity.
