SOLUTION: The uncoupling protein expression-inducing agent contains a fine-net frond belonging to the Dunaliella salina group of Chlorophyceae Volvocales and having a yellow-orange color or an extract obtained from the frond as an active ingredient. In particular, the uncoupling protein expression-inducing agent promotes the expression of uncoupling protein 2 or uncoupling protein 3.
