PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowerpot which does not deteriorate profoundness and which is also excellent in strength in a state in which a garden tree or a flowering plant is planted, although it is possible to perform folding.SOLUTION: A flowerpot 1 comprises a truncated pyramid-shaped cylindrical barrel member 2 which has a horizontal cross-section of a n-sided polygon (n=even number), and a bottom member 4 which is a similar n-sided polygon slightly larger than a shape of a bottom opening 3 thereof and which is fitted and installed detachably in an inscribed state in the vicinity of the bottom opening 3. The cylindrical barrel member 2 is formed by barrel forming plates 5a-5d which have substantially inverted trapezoidal shapes for forming respective surfaces of the truncated pyramid-shaped member in which all n pieces have independent hard plate structures, and connecting members 7 made of resin having elasticity which are joined to inner surfaces of the barrel forming plates 5a-5d while riding over abutting portions among vertical sides 6 so that the adjoining barrel forming plates 5a-5d are connected to one another. The barrel forming plates 5a-5d are classified into two groups each composed of continuous (n/2) pieces each of which is rotated in a flat form to be thereby folded into a flat form in which two pieces are overlapped.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】折り畳みが可能でありながら、重厚さを損なわず、また、植木や草花を植えた状態での強度にも優れる植木鉢を提供する。【解決手段】植木鉢1は、水平断面がn角形(n=偶数)である角錐台形の筒形胴部材2と、その底開口3の形状より若干大きい相似形のn角形であって底開口3近傍に内接状態且つ着脱自在に嵌合設置されている底部材4とを有し、筒形胴部材2は、角錐台形の各面を構成する略逆さ台形形状であってn枚の全てが独立した硬質の板構造である胴部構成板5a~5dと、隣合う胴部構成板5a~5d同士を連結するように縦辺6同士の突き合わせ部分を跨いで胴部構成板5a~5dの内面に接合された伸縮性を有する樹脂製連結部材7とで形成されており、胴部構成板5a~5dを、連続する(n/2)枚ずつの2グループにしてそのそれぞれを扁平状に回動させ、そうして2枚重ねの扁平状に折り畳み得るようにした。【選択図】 図1
