PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion aid for an endoscope provided with a hand operation unit for switching a tube connected to a fluid conduit in a sheath insertion portion between an open state and a closed state by pressing or releasing the tube, wherein the insertion aid can prevent damage of the hand operation unit when not in use while preventing a defect of the tube of being easy to get crushed and also which can suitably perform sterilization.SOLUTION: A handle unit 30 of the insertion aid includes an operating mechanism for opening and closing the tubes connected to an air pipe line and a water pipe line of the sheath insertion portion 14 by pressing them. Specifically, the handle unit includes stoppers 90 and 92 biased in a pressing position to press the tubes, and a lever 32 for moving the stoppers 90 and 92 to a non-pressing position so as not to press the tubes. The lever 32 has through-holes 112 and 114 laterally penetrating. When a lock pin 110 is inserted into the through-holes, the lever 32 is locked in a predetermined rotational position, thereby holding the stoppers 90 and 92 in the non-pressing position.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】シース挿入部の流体管路に接続されたチューブの押圧とその解除によりチューブを閉状態と開状態とで切り替える手元操作部を備えた内視鏡挿入補助具において、チューブに潰れ癖が付く不具合を防止するとともに、非使用時における手元操作部の破損を防止することができ、また、滅菌を好適に行うことができる内視鏡用挿入補助具を提供する。【解決手段】挿入補助具のハンドル部30には、シース挿入部14の送気管路と送水管路に接続されたチューブを押圧により開閉する操作機構を備える。即ち、チューブを押圧する押圧位置に付勢されたストッパ90、92と、チューブを押圧しない非押圧位置にストッパ90、92を移動させるレバー32を備える。レバー32には、左右方向に貫通する貫通孔112、114が形成されており、これにロックピン110を挿入すると、レバー32が所定の回動位置でロックされ、ストッパ90、92が非押圧位置に保持される。【選択図】図10
