Provided in an aspect of the disclosed invention are an x-ray imaging apparatus and an image acquiring method, which obtain blood vessel image based on data obtained by rotating C-arm in limited angle, and accordingly obtain roadmap image having depth information of blood vessel presented. The x-ray imaging apparatus comprises a C-arm including an x-ray source and an x-ray detection part on both ends respectively； a control part controlling driving of C-arm for C-arm to be rotated in a predetermined angle； a processor obtaining multiple reflection image having the blood vessel presented based on data obtained in the x-ray detection part while C-arm is rotated in predetermined angle, and obtaining roadmap image including depth information of blood vessel based on multiple reflection image； and a display displaying roadmap image.개시된 발명의 일 측면은, C-arm을 제한된 각도로 회전시켜 획득한 데이터에 기초하여 혈관영상을 획득하고, 이를 통해 혈관의 깊이 정보가 표현된 로드맵 영상을 획득하는 엑스선 영상장치 및 영상획득방법을 제공한다. 엑스선 영상장치는 양단에 각각 엑스선 소스와 엑스선 검출부가 마련된 C-arm, C-arm이 미리 정해진 각도만큼 회전하도록 C-arm 의 구동을 제어하는 제어부, C-arm이 미리 정해진 각도만큼 회전하는 동안 엑스선 검출부에서 획득한 데이터에 기초하여 혈관이 나타난 복수의 투영영상을 획득하고, 복수의 투영영상에 기초하여 혈관의 깊이 정보가 포함된 로드맵 영상을 획득하는 프로세서 및 로드맵 영상을 표시하는 디스플레이를 포함한다.
