The absorbent article of the present invention is characterized by comprising: an absorbent body having arranged thereon a water-absorbent resin powder that satisfies the conditions (a)-(c) listed below and a diffusion layer comprising a synthetic fiber aggregate that does not substantially possess water absorbing properties.
