FIELD: pharmacology.SUBSTANCE: composition for oral care is proposed. It contains a tetrabasic zinc halogenide and an amino acid, where the tetrabasic zinc halogenide and the amino acid are a complex. Herein the amino acid is lysine or arginine. It is also proposed to use tetrabasic zinc halogenide with an amino acid to make a composition for oral care. Wherein the tetrabasic zinc halogenide and the amino acid are a complex and the amino acid is lysine or arginine.
