The present invention relates to methods of improving cognition and treating or preventing cognitive impairment in a subject. These methods involve administering to a subject in need of cognitive improvement or to a subject having or at risk for developing impaired cognition a ligand which binds to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and improves cognition or treats or prevents cognitive impairment in the subject.La présente invention concerne des méthodes pour améliorer la cognition et traiter ou prévenir une déficience cognitive chez un sujet.
