PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fertilization method capable of attaining furthermore rationalization and labor saving in fertilization, and having high utilization efficiency of a fertilizer, even when using a pouring fertilization method as a basal fertilizer.SOLUTION: There is provided a fertilization method for inputting a fertilizer containing a nitrogenous component and a nitrification suppression material as a basal fertilizer, directly into a paddy field together with irrigation water from a port of the paddy field. The nitrogenous component is preferably urea or ammonia, and the nitrification suppression material is preferably dicyandiamide or 3,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole/phosphate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】 施肥のさらなる合理化、省力化を達成することができ、かつ、基肥として流し込み施肥方法を用いても肥料の利用効率が高い施肥方法を提供する。【解決手段】 基肥として、窒素質成分と硝化抑制材とを含む肥料を、水田の水口から灌漑水と共に直接水田へ投入する施肥方法である。この施肥方法において、窒素質成分については尿素又はアンモニアであることが好ましく、また、硝化抑制材がジシアンジアミド又は3,4-ジメチル-1H-ピラゾール・りん酸塩であることが好ましい。【選択図】 図３
