PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic which is excellent in temporal stability, exhibits no stickiness, and has excellent spreadability.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic is formed by compounding following components (A)-(D): (A) a microparticle metal oxide of which the surface is treated with a trialkoxyalkylsilane (B) a polyhydroxy stearic acid (C) a non-silicone oil agent and (D) a surfactant selected from an alkyl methyl taurine salt and/or a phospholipid.
