PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition for oral cavity to prevent dental plaque formation which is excellent, as a matter of fact, in appearance behavior as a liquid formulation for oral cavity and has an excellent dental plaque preventive action by means of the enhanced adsorption effect of cetylpyridinium chloride on tooth surfaces.SOLUTION: A liquid composition for oral cavity to prevent dental plaque includes: cetylpyridinium chloride (a) 0.01-1.0 mass% of at least one nonionic surface active agent (b) selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, polyoxyethylene glycerol fatty acid ester, polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester having an average addition mole number of ethylene oxide of 5-20, a polyoxyethylene sterol having an average addition mole number of ethylene oxide of 5-25, and polyglycerol fatty acid ester having a 12-14C alkyl group and an average addition mole number of a glyceryl group of 6-10 and 0.001-1.0 mass% of at least one oil-soluble constituent (c) selected from the group consisting of an oil-soluble medically effective constituent, an oil-soluble fragrance, an oil-soluble alcohol, and p-hydroxybenzoic acid ester.
