The present invention is generally directed to an injection device for setting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament and a method of assembling same. The injection device comprises a housing (10) having a longitudinal axis (I), a dose setting member (60 80) rotatable relative to the housing (10) during dose setting, and a torsion spring (90) which is strained during dose setting and which is attached with its first end to the housing (10) and with its second end (91) to the dose setting member (60 80).
