PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibacterial instillation having high antibacterial activity through markedly improving the eye mucosa retention of a medicament such as sulfamethoxazole, sulfamethoxazole sodium, sulfisoxazole or sulfisomidine sodium.SOLUTION: This instillation is obtained by incorporating an instillation containing one medicament selected from sulfamethoxazole, sulfamethoxazole sodium, sulfisoxazole and sulfisomidine sodium with tocopherol acetate or retinol acetate and a specific compound in the presence of a nonionic surfactant.
