A system for at least manufacturing dental prostheses, comprising (a) at least one dental clinic, wherein the or each dental clinic is adapted for at least initializing the creation of a 3D numerical model of at least a part of a patients dentition requiring a prosthesis (b) a dental service center adapted for at least manufacturing at least a part of said prosthesis based on said 3D numerical model (c) at least one dental lab, the or each dental lab being separate from said service center, wherein the or each said dental lab is adapted for at least manufacturing at least a part of a prosthesis based on said 3D numerical model wherein the or each said at least one dental clinic and the or each said at least one dental lab are interconnected at least to said dental service center, via a suitable communication medium and wherein said service center and at least one said dental lab are adapted to share with one another at least the manufacture of said prosthesis based on said 3D numerical model, according to predetermined criteria.
