PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tending machine capable of reliably switching inversion on the basis of a workers operation without causing an unexpected inverting operation of an inversion member.SOLUTION: The walking type tending machine includes an inversion member (6) at a cultivation part (2) via a mount part (4) so as to switch the vertical inversion. The inversion member (6) includes a skid (7) for cultivation work at one end thereof and a tail wheel (8) for moving work at the other end, where both ends thereof are configured to switch to a grounding position respectively. The mount part (4) comprises a fitting cylinder (14) and a fitting shaft (13) that are fitted to each other to be removable in an inversion axis direction of the inversion member (6). The fitting cylinder (14) and the fitting shaft (13) are formed into a fitting shape with deformed cross section so as to regulate rotational turning at angular positions before/after inversion of the inversion member (6).
