PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article of which absorbent core is unlikely to locally swell even when absorbing discharged liquid.SOLUTION: An absorbent core 5 includes at least a first region 41 and a second region 42 each has basis weight different from each other, and the basis weight of the first region 41 is higher than the basis weight of the second region 42. The first region 41 includes a crotch part C, and the second region 42 includes a back side part B. The first region 41 has a bending guide part group 50 formed of a plurality of bending guide parts 51, 52a, 52b extending in a longitudinal direction. The bending guide part group 50 is formed of a central bending guide part 51, and a pair of side bending guide parts 52a, 52b located at both sides of the central bending guide part 51. The bending guide part group 50 is located closer to the crotch part C than lower end parts 31A, 32A in the exterior body 3 located at the ventral part A.
