PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle-free delivery device that can deliver viscous formulations through a hypodermic syringe without giving any pain to a patient.SOLUTION: The device includes: a needle-free injector, a liquid formulation container including a pharmaceutically active drug, and a channel leading from the container to an exit opening. The ratio of the length of the channel to the diameter of the exit opening is less than 10. The pharmaceutically active drug is a psychiatric drug. The formulation has a viscosity of about 5 cS or more at about 20°C.
