The present invention is obtained by artificially crossing an acemi variety as a parent and a Kasalath variety as a parent, and relates to a new variety of rice ( Oryza sativa ), which has increased resistance to high temperature and dry stress compared to the control product, acemi. As a result, the new rice varieties'Sebi' of the present invention can be cultivated in a complex stress environment, and thus can be usefully used for developing an endogenous rice variety prepared for climate change.본 발명은 아세미 품종을 모본으로 하고 Kasalath 품종을 부본으로 하여 이를 인공교배시켜 얻어진 것으로서, 대조품종인 아세미에 비하여 고온 및 건조 스트레스에 대한 저항성이 증가된 벼 신품종 세비 (Oryza sativa 세비)에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 벼 신품종 '세비'는 복합 스트레스 환경에서 재배가능하므로 기후변화에 대비하는 내재해성 벼 품종 개발에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
