Capillary refilling time (CRT) in patients is an important feature of cardiovascular health decision.Rapid rediffusion of microcirculation (i.e., capillary) is a good indication that the cardiovascular system can distribute blood efficiently through the body.The current system uses an unreliable or subjective method to test the CRT.In addition, CRT calculations are more commonly used in pediatrics and are not commonly used in adult medical spaces.This application describes a system and method for computing a patient's CRT using a mobile device comprising an optical head mount display coupled with ambient light to calculate an integrated camera and light source or CRT, and use a light source.
