PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food containing ground konjac like the grated radish and grated Japanese radish food which has both fresh Japanese radish smell of ground Japanese radish and physiological effects of ground konjac such as decrease of caloric intake, inhibiting of weight gain, and decrease in body fat.SOLUTION: The production method of food containing ground konjac is characterized in that grinding of the normal konjac of pH 10-12 is carried out in a grated Japanese radish style, the ground konjac is seasoned to pH 7 or less with seasoning or spice of which pH is acidic by including acid seasoning, and after packing, heat sterilization is carried out.
