PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for absorbing thermal expansion when greening a pavement or a parking area, formed on an artificial ground or a rooftop especially by laying units. SOLUTION: The subject planter for growing the plant has one or more protrusions on a flat board, and joint parts 1 and 2 capable of joining the board in the right and left direction. The joint part 1 comprises a suspended part suspended from the upper end part of the side face downward, and the side face, and the joint part 2 comprises a U-shaped part suspended from the upper end part of the side face and obtained by folding the suspended end part inward and upward, and the side face. The joint part 1 is joined with the joint part 2 by inserting the joint part 1 between the U-shaped part of the joint 2 and the side face belonging to the joint 2 to enable the expansion caused by the heat to be absorbed by the connection.
