PURPOSE: A food composition containing Synurus deltoids is provided to improve the storage property and the keeping quality of the composition by mixing Synurus deltoids powder with glutinous or non-glutinous rice powder. CONSTITUTION: A food composition containing Synurus deltoids is obtained by the following steps: parboiling or cooking fresh Synurus deltoids after adding 1% of salt or 1% of sodium bicarbonate or without the addition； crushing the cooked Synurus deltoids, and freezing or hot-air drying the Synurus deltoids before secondly crushing； and mixing 5-20 parts of obtained Synurus deltoids powder by weight with 10-40 parts of rice powder mixture by weight.
