PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which can supply stable raw material air to an absorption unit immediately after start-up, even when started-up at low rotation.SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator is provided with a compressed air generator 105, which builds in a rotation body and generates compressed air, and a suction unit, which introduces the compressed air to an inner section and, by means of an adsorbent filled into the inner section, absorbs nitrogen and separates and produces oxygen. The compressed air generator has a control unit 200 which controls the rotational frequency of the rotation body such that the rotational frequency is appropriate with regard to the amount of oxygen being generated.
