Garden secateurs, with an anvil leg and a cutting blade leg, has U-shaped leg grips to interlock when closed, and with a paired gripping tooth structure at the tip
The garden secateurs have an anvil leg (1-3) and a cutting blade leg (4-6), with a paired gripping tooth (10) at the anvil leg extending from the center of the jaw opening to the outer end of the anvil pad (1) to increase the cutting action. The anvil leg grip (3) and the blade leg grip (6) have a U-shaped cross section. They are offset against each other, across the swing plane of the secateurs, so that the U-legs of the blade leg grip cover the U-legs of the anvil leg grip at the side next to the finger tips, when the legs are closed together.
