PURPOSE: A radiography device and controlling method thereof are provided to reduce artifacts by subtraction processing because the artifacts caused by a periodic change of an environment magnetic field are overlapped on a same phase of radiation images and dark images.CONSTITUTION: A radiography device comprises a first obtaining member, a second obtaining member, and a controlling member. The first obtaining member drives a sensor when a radiation generating device generates radiation, thereby obtaining radiation images. The second obtaining member drives the sensor without the radiation generation of the radiation generation device, thereby obtaining arm images.
