The present invention relates to a composition for a radioprotectant, and more particularly, to a composition for a radioprotectant, which comprises a compound represented by the chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient, and thus the composition can be used for the composition for the radioprotectant by inhibiting apoptosis and DNA damage by radiation exposure or irradiation.
