<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance apparatus which makes it possible to stably keep the homogeneity of the main magnetic field by effectively operating passive shimming. <；P>；SOLUTION: A MRI apparatus 100 holds a magnetic metal in a pocket for the correction of the homogeneity of the main magnetic field. Temperature information related to one of the temperature of the magnetic metal held in the pocket, the temperature of the pocket, and a temperature near the pocket is acquired by a sensor. A system controller 27 adjusts the temperature of the magnetic metal to a target temperature beforehand warmed from the temperature information acquired by the sensor. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
