PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urination detection device which is not disabled to detect urination due to occurrence of detection saturation caused by one-time moisture detection, avoids erroneous detection caused by an ambient temperature, and is capable of detecting urination without direct contact with the skin of a subject, as against conventional urination detection apparatuses.SOLUTION: The urination detection device, which comprises a microwave Doppler sensor, irradiates the subject with microwaves and receives the reflection waves to detect an urination action. This eliminates direct contact of a sensor with urination moisture, so that the sensor avoids detection saturation and can be used repetitively. Moreover, the sensor is independent of an ambient temperature, thus urination can be detected without erroneous detection even when the subject uses a heater or the like.
