PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop-preventing device of a harvester in a harvester used for harvesting work of potatoes, onions, beets, or the like by disposing a platy drop-preventing member, which is ascended when a conveyor is moving and descended when the conveyor is stopped to prevent root crops from slipping down from a rod conveyor while the conveyor is stopped.SOLUTION: In a harvester 1 in which a rod conveyor 3 attached with rods 6 in a drainboard shape is slantly disposed behind a digging blade 2, a platy and vertically movable root crops drop-preventing member 9 is disposed above an optional position of the rod conveyor to be rectangular to the travel direction of the rod conveyor, and the platy root crops drop-preventing member moves upward to an evacuated position while the rod conveyor is in action, and moves downward to a drop-preventing position while the rod conveyor is stopped.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】ジャガイモや玉葱やビート等の収穫作業に用いるハーベスタにおいて、板状の芋落下防止部材を配設し、コンベア移動時にはこれを上昇させ、コンベア停止時にはこれを下降させることにより、コンベア停止時にロッド式コンベアから根菜類が滑落するのを防止できるようにしたハーベスタの落下防止装置を提供すること。【解決手段】掘取刃2の後方に、簀の子状にロッド6を取り付けたロッド式コンベア3が傾斜させて配設されているハーベスタ1において、ロッド式コンベアの任意位置の上方に、上下動が可能な板状の芋落下防止材9がロッド式コンベアの進行方向に対して直交するように配設されているとともに、板状の芋落下防止材は、ロッド式コンベアが作動時には上昇して退避位置に移動し、ロッド式コンベアが停止時には下降して落下防止位置に移動するように構成した。【選択図】 図1
