The present invention relates to an acrylic UV blocking polymer and a use of the same, wherein a UV blocking component and an acrylic polymer are chemically bound. More specifically, the present invention relates to an acrylic UV blocking polymer produced by chemically binding a UV blocking component and an acrylic polymer, a method for producing the same, and a cosmetic composition including the same for blocking UV. The acrylic UV blocking polymer according to the present invention, compared to an existing chemical UV blocking component, may prevent in vivo absorption as a UV blocking polymer having an increased molecular weight, thereby reducing toxicity and ensuring in vivo stability. Moreover, even when the UV blocking polymer of the present invention is polymerized, there is no denaturalization in UV blocking efficiency that an existing chemical UV blocking component has, so that an excellent UV blocking effect may be intactly maintained and the same may be used in producing an improved UV blocking cosmetic product.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015본 발명은 자외선 차단 성분 및 아크릴계 중합체가 화학적으로 접합되어 구성된 아크릴계 자외선 차단 고분자 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명은 자외선 차단 성분 및 아크릴계 중합체가 화학적으로 접합되어 구성된 아크릴계 자외선 차단 고분자, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 자외선 차단용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 아크릴계 자외선 차단 고분자는 기존의 화학적 자외선 차단성분과 비교하여 증가된 분자량을 갖는 차외선 차단 고분자로서 체내 흡수를 방지할 수 있어 독성을 감소시켜 체내 안정성을 확보할 수 있고, 또한 본 발명의 자외선 차단 고분자는 고분자화 하더라도 기존의 화학적 자외선 차단 성분이 가지는 자외선 차단 효율의 변성이 없으므로 우수한 자외선 차단 효과를 그대로 유지할 수 있는 효과가 있으므로, 개선된 자외선 차단용 화장품의 제조에 응용할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
