PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beverage having formulations modified to reduce degradation of monatin.SOLUTION: A beverage comprises a first ingredient which comprises a C6-C3 phenylpropenoic carbonyl compound in an effective amount to reduce degradation of a second ingredient in the beverage, the second ingredient being monatin, and to reduce a corresponding change in characteristics of the beverage. In addition, a method of preventing the degradation of monatin in a monatin-containing composition is provided.【課題】モナチンの分解を減少するように変更された配合を有する飲料を提供する。【解決手段】飲料中の第２の成分であるモナチンの分解を減少させるのに効果的な量であって、かつ飲料の特性の対応する変化を減少させるのに効果的な量でＣ6－Ｃ3フェニルプロペンカルボニル化合物を含む第１の成分を含む飲料が提供される。また、モナチン含有組成物におけるモナチンの分解を防ぐ方法が提供される。【選択図】なし
