PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated body where nutrient permeability is high, the growth of a plant body is excellent, and the penetration of a root can be suppressed by the penetration strength, a manufacturing method thereof, and a film for cultivating the plant formed of the laminated body.SOLUTION: The laminated body has a polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer layer (layer A) and a polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer layer (layer B). When a degree of the swelling of the layer A is (a) mass% and a degree of the swelling of the layer B is (b) mass%, the laminated body satisfying the following formula (1), a film for plant cultivation formed of the laminated body, and a method of manufacturing the laminated body containing a step for bonding the poly vinyl alcohol-based polymer film having a degree of the swelling of (a) mass% and the polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer film having a degree of the swelling of (b) mass% satisfies the formula (1) b-a≥20.
