PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of acquiring an ultrasonic image with high resolution of a transmission and reception waveform.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 2 comprises: a piezoelectric substance 22 for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave at least two layers of first acoustic matching layers 23 provided on the front surface of the piezoelectric substance 22 a protective layer 25 provided on the front surface of a layer located at the foremost position of the first acoustic matching layers 23 at least one or more layers of second acoustic matching layers 26 provided on the front surface of the protective layer 25 and an acoustic lens 27 provided on the front surface of a layer located at the foremost position of the second acoustic matching layers 26.
